Christina Jackson, DAHM, LAc
Founder and Clinical Director
Dr. Christina Jackson is an acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, teacher, and researcher. Her practice focus is complex internal medicine issues including chronic pain syndromes, endocrine imbalances, digestive issues, and cancer support and survivorship. She also has specialized training and clinical interest in obstetrics and gynecology including fertility, all stages of pregnancy, postpartum, recurrent pregnancy loss, PMS, menstrual pain, fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, ovarian cysts, and menopausal issues. She especially enjoys the challenge of complicated cases.
Christina became the first Seattle area acupuncturist to practice in a fertility clinic alongside reproductive endocrinologists in 1998. Since that time, she has taught ob/gyn courses on Chinese herbal medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics in clinical and academic settings. She is a past faculty member of the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM) and at Bastyr University. She also provides mentorship to students and practitioners.
Christina is a member of the Washington State East Asian Medical Association and The Society for Integrative Oncology. In 2023, she was appointed to the Washington State Department of Health Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Advisory Committee. Christina is nationally board certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by The National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists (NCCAOM). She completed her studies at The Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1995, and her Doctoral Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in 2020 at Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine.

Mariko Johnston, DAHM, LAc
Dr. Mariko Johnston holds a master’s degree in acupuncture and east Asian medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and a doctoral degree from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts specializing in women's health and aging populations. She brings expertise and specialized training in orthopedics, gynecology, pregnancy, postpartum care and working with immunocompromised patients. Mariko has spent her career in health and wellness as a certified yoga and meditation instructor, fitness coach, corrective exercise specialist and reiki practitioner, and brings her 20 years of experience in movement education into her patient care. Oliva Granach, MAc, LAc.
Olivia obtained her Master’s in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in 2023. Dually certified as a DONA trained post partum doula and massage therapist. Olivia brings specialized training in fertility, pregnancy, labor induction, postpartum care as well as menopause, male infertility, and menstrual and pelvic conditions. She also particularly enjoys applying her expertise to cancer support and survivorship, surgery recovery, end of life care, digestive issues, acute and chronic pain. Patient education is central to her work and she draws deeply on her training in Auyvedic and eastern medical nutrition and herbal medicine to give lifestyle advice taylored to each patient as an individual. She is especially committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all.
In her free time Olivia cna be found sailing, farming, creative writing and Balkin singing.

Jolie Foster, DACM, LAc
Jolie received her masters in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Colorado Chinese Medicine University in 2018 and her Doctoral degree from Emperors College in 2023. A life long learner, she is also certified in shiatsu massage, and functional medicine, eastern and western herbal medicine and holistic nutrition.
Dr. Jolie initially trained as a massage therapist and eventually enrolled in advanced studies in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Jolie recognized the need for better integration of eastern and western philosophies and desired to make eastern medicine concepts more accessible to both patients and physicians. She addressed this need directly while working in an interdisciplinary pain clinic, collaborating with western physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists with great success in Colorado.
Education remains central in Dr. Jolie’s treatment approach. She strives to empower her patients with a deeper understanding of human health and what acupuncture can contribute and where other areas of expertise are needed to achieve their goals. Her clinical modalities include gentle needling techniques, guasha, fire cupping, tuina, shiatsu, acupressure, myofascial release, electro-stim, auriculotherapy, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations through Western and Eastern medical nutrition and herbalism.
Dr. Jolie specializes in orthopedic and sports medicine in addition to a strong clinical interest in women’s health. She has experience with fertility acupuncture, pre-and post-natal massage, and menopause acupuncture treatments. Her doctoral work led her to specialize in treating traumatic brain injury, neuro-endocrine disorders, and post-concussion syndrome.
Fluent in Spanish and trained as a medical interpreter, Jolie has traveled the world teaching Spanish and English. An avid outdoor enthusiast, you can find her adventuring in nature during her free time.
Jolie practices in Issaquah Tuesday , Wednesday , Friday, and Saturday and Tacoma on Thursday starting in Septener 2026.
